I have had a Cypress Gardens Ski Skat for about 15 years now. I bought it at a Garage Sale when I was 10. I decided to take it out yesterday and give it a try. The Ski Skat is about 24 to 30 Inches long. It was alot of fun. I was wondering if anyone else has seen one of these or has used one. I will post some pictures as soon as I can of the ski and of me skiing on it.

Thanks,

Jeff

I have two of them, they are definitly a different animal, you can throw up a huge spray with them.. I always dropped a ski, didn't even want to try getting up on it.

I too had to drop a ski. I tryed to get up on it, and wasn't able to. I did once get up on it when I was about 15 years old. I tryed to post some pictures but they were to big, so I will try and make them smaller and post tonight. On some of the pictures it looks like I am barefooting because the spray is so big.

How about the "Super" Ski Skat, which is about 8" longer than the regular Ski Skat above? I've still got one of those and tried to get up on it several weeks ago (as I did for years no problem) and pulled half the muscles in my body. It also throws a lot of water, but it needs to be calm. I'll post picts tomorrow.

I used to have one back when I was 16 or so. Given my size 12's it had to to be right agout 24". My feet were heel to toe in it and thats all i could ever do on it was throw a lot of spray. Just kind of a novelty ski. I could not get up on it even then, had to drop one. I just dug out all my old ski's last fall and that one is missing along with one of my trick ski's. I was hoping to add it to my cottage wall...

The Ski Skat is a lot of fun to mess around with from time to time. I also have a set of Cypress Garden Trick Ski's that I pulled out the other day. I used just the Slalom Ski and was able to jump and ski around on it. Still haven't figured out how to do 180's or 360's on it. If anyone has any suggestions let me know.

Thanks,

Jeff

Alas, The Super Ski Skat! It measures 38" tip to tip. The extra length makes it long enough to where you can actually cut on it.
