When I end up with a load of kids in the boat wanting to wakeboard or slow tube i like to hook the rope to rear lift eyelet. I dont like the steel hook clip rattling around on the eye and i have not found a secure way to hook it without that yet. Any ideas before i start trying to build something?

Why not just run the rope through the lifting ring and attach it to the pylon?

It wears the rope badly at the rear lift ring. I noticed it at the end of the year where my ropes are a little tattered 6' out...
