Question for everyone on ski wakes . .
Right now one of my boats is a 79 Ski. I have no complaines about the ski wake. I am looking at possibly upgrading to a 2001 series boat. How does this wake compare? I have skied behind a friends but he had a little weight in it for wakeboarding. With this weight the wake was actually bigger then my 79. Is this the norm or was this the extra weight? Any thoughts on ski characteristics between the two would be great. Thanks for the help! Brian |

What speed do you ski at? If it's 34+ I'd say the they're really close. If slower, I think the '79 will be slightly better due to the flatter hull, but probably tracks worse. I haven't skiied anything prior to the 2001 hull, but I'm sure others on here can give you first hand knowledge.
