ESPN is carrying the competition...sure is some good football!

And what happened to the Russian team? Better put-what's the real story?

russians got in trouble with some racism scandals... I vote Spain, so far their game play has been very clean and tight. Germany and France have looked solid as well, they just lack break out plays and good counter attacks. Just got back from London a few days ago...sure was great to go to a pub and be surrounded by real fans!

I'm several shades of green! I haven't seen them all play, but Spain does look good...except where's the little guy?

LOL! well today's games were kinda lame. sucks that the top 3 favored teams all got stuck in the same bracket. At this point I just hope someone stomps portugal, I can't stand nani and ronaldo. Poor Greece, first Germany's PM calls them babies that need financial babysitting for the whole Debt meltdown, and now they're going to get stomped by their soccer team Thursday...

Spain has got a very good team, so does Germany.
My money goes on either of these two...

- Gun control means: using BOTH hands!
- Money doesn't make one happy, but when it rains cats and dogs, it's still better to cry in a Porsche than on a bicycle...

Anybody know what Portugal was thinking?

A couple of things I've never seen:

1-the first 2 shots saved in a shoot-off
2-backs taking the shots
