Does anyone know if an 86 Naut. will fit well on a 93 CC trailer? I'm sure it will work ok, but what I'm wondering is if there are any reasons not to trailer an 86 on a 93 trailer. I'm worried about how the 86 will sit on the '93 trailer, how it will ride and how it will load. Any info would help. Thanks.

Check the dimesions from the brochures in
the reference section. I believe the 93 is
9" longer than your 86. ICBW. BKH

BKH is correct, the 90+ trailers are a bit longer than you need. As far as hull fit and loading are concerned, you should be fine. Our former '88 2001 was loaded on a trailer designed for a '90 at least once without any problem.

I checked around with a few dealers and 2 said it should work, but 2 said it wouldn't and not to try it. The 2 dealers that said it wouldn't cited the fact that a '93 CC trailer has rails that are too wide for an '86 and that there is a good chance that the bottom edge of the hull could slip off one of the bunks causing one side of the boat to fall into the belly of the trailer. Apparently eagle trailers have narrower rails so they should work. I guess there is too much speculation about this for me to take the chance on a '93 trailer. If anyone knows of an '80's vintage CC trailer, I would be interested.
