Inline 6. Any ideas on what engine this might be. Runs great but has a small exhaust manifold leak. Any help is appreciated.

Lee, Post some pics when you can. Like Gary says, I'm guessing you have an Interceptor. Probably a flywheel forward, six banger. This is the same basic engine that was used in the Falcon. As for the exhaust leak, can you tell where it is leaking at? The manifold runs water thru it. If it has a crack, you can induce water into the engine and cause major problems. Here is a pic of the Interceptor 100, 177CI in my 64 A.S. . |

Can't figure out how to put up pics. But that is my motor. Just not as pretty. It is leaking out of what I assume is the exhaust manifold. In the back below the carb. Not from the carb just under in that area.

I have this exact engine disassembled and in great shape. If you need any parts or the manifold please let me know.
