Was planning to help buddy replace steering cable on his new to him 2000 Sport. While I have done this a few times on older ski nautiques and an MC, how hard is it to gain access to rudder/ tiller arm? His also has the ballast tanks too.
I'm really hoping they didn't go zip tie happy in places we can't reach well! Also, my 99 doesn't have a zerk on rudder, did they by chance go back to including by 2000? Thanks for any insight! |

Did you replace the steering cable? I know this post is old, but I am trying to replace the cable on my 02 Air with ballast tanks. I really dont want to have to remove the gas tank to get the ballast tank out to reach the tiller arm. Hints??
