Hi everybody! I'm new on the forum....!
i want replace Shaft, propeller and strut on my correct craft Martinique 1986. The old Shaft that i remove was 41" long, single taper with a 1"X4" coupler and the strut is a 6A-6.... when i look to ordered my new shaft and strut, the site recommand a 54" long shaft and a 6A-19 strut for my boat?????

Somebody can tell me witch lenght of shaft and strut modèle it's suppose to fit on my boat? There is actually the wrong shaft lenght and strut on it??

Thank's

Somethings up- here is the list I have 1973 and up Martinique shows a 50" shaft and a 154dv strut. What is the measurement from the rear coupling on the trans to back side of the strut?

Now that I look close at it though that sheet is dated 1980,they must have changed. That measurement I asked above will still help though

The 70-78 Martinique was on the ski nautique hull. From 80-84 it was the Bfn 19' hull. From 86-89 it was a larger 21' deep vee hull. Careful about sites claiming they know which years are which, lots of variation in that particular model.

6a6 and 41" shaft would be consistent with the dd Bfn (79-90), fwiw.

Is the existing shaft bent?? If not then it can be machined to accept a tapered coupling. Much cheaper alternative. I just finished a 41" shaft for a customer.
Keep it as original as YOU want it

Dan,
Welcome to CCfan. Pictures of the boat would be great. Also, considering the confusion, double check the year of your Martinique. The HIN will be molded into the gel on the transom.

Hi Gary

The mesurement from transmission coupler til back side of the 6A6 existing strut is 36".
That's why i figure out the 54" shaft connot fit here....?? It's appear not the origin shaft and strut but it's fit...??

Hi Gary

I check the list that you post and i see the martinique 21' long it's a 6A6 strut with a 1"X41" shaft..... so it's should mean that actual strut and shaft is the original size....

So if i understand my HIN, cause i see à old topic who talk about that....

CTC: correct craft
01121: serial number
B : february
6: manufactured In 86
86: sale In 86

Thank's everything is better clear

Can I assume that this strut model number is correct for my 1976 Martinique? It has a 50" shaft.
