Guys-

My two hull skegs have a pretty good bend in them. Anyone ever attempt to sraighten these out on their own? Is this a job for Delta Props?

Thanks,
NM

I sent mine off to the prop shop, they were able to straighten one of three...the other two cracked.

If you decide to go it yourself, just know that replacements from CC dealer run about $85.00/ea. This might also help you decide to just go ahead and replace with new depending on what shipping and repair from Delta Props would run (assuming you are not local to Delta Props).

Does one size fit all? Can you put 2006 skegs on an older model boat?

I just looked at my receipt...says fits 91-present. So, older than '91 maybe a bit different. And the price was $75, not $85.

Must be something out there that will fit '86 models. I would by them for better looks. Mine are dark brown. $75 is a great price for each.

I had a fin straightened by a local prop guy (Kansas City area) this past winter; he charged me $20. He also buffed it up nice and shiney, all the fish are very impressed

Guys-

I should have mentioned this is for a 78'SN. I'll check with NECC and drop a line if I get lucky.

Thanks-
NM
