grab handles in bow are loose

i have an 02 SAN. The grab handle (stainless steel bar) on the left side in the bow area is a little loose. anyone know how to tighten it up? i tried to reach up inside of it, but the only way i can tell that i will be able to get to it is by removing the cushion (I dont konw how to do that...)

any suggestions?
