Hello,

I just picked up a 1999 SN 176 for a winter project boat and need help finding a few parts. It doesn’t have a rear ski to pylon and from seeing photos of others some had it and some didn’t. I’d like to add that but cannot find a factory unit.

Also I need to rub rail end caps or at least the one for the port side.

Also would like to find the blower tube cover as the one on the boat is cracked and probably won’t last long.

Thanks in advance for the help in finding these. I’m sure as I restore this boat more items will be needed.

Craig

I'm a bit confused (and curious) about your reference to a "rear ski pylon". A 176 was a direct-drive boat, and the only pylon in those is just in front of the engine cover. Perhaps you are mistaken about the 176 model designation? The V-drive boats usually have a pylon in the rear. Please enlighten us!

Transom pylon

W/O Transom Pylon

I'd suggest looking to see if there is any reinforcement under the deck before adding any pylon.

I can't seem to get the photos to open. Can you post them in a different format?
