Just wondering if you can do a impeller change with the boat still in the water ? If so, anything you have or should do before?

Any thoughts would be helpful

Hi Peter - Thanks for the reply,...I know,...Knowing my luck i would sink the boat so I am just double checking. I don't have the luxury of a trailer or a lift.

Appreciate the help

As long as you don't get the suction side hose below the water line in the bilge, you'll be fine.

yep, like Pete said, no issue at all. I had to change mine out in the water at SJRR a few years back.   TIP: take some Dawn dish soap or something like that and lube it up before putting in the new one. Will make life easier.

I want to know how Pete can remember how to change an impeller. Wasn’t the last time he changed his Kennedy was in office?
