I recently replaced my trailer bunk boards by using "The Ultimate Bunk Boards" and am thoroughly satisfied with the results.
Does anyone have a solution for the half moon carpeted boards that cover the area at the Fenders? What are the groups thoughts of this material for these boards in question? Flat fender material? TIA, Tony |

Since the subject of this material came up.
Does anyone know where to get this type of material for the front bow pads, I want to get rid of the carpeted bow pads. |

Tony, With those bunks, I highly recommend you keep the boats bow eye hooked up to the trailer until you have the boat almost in the water. Maybe one of our members can explain the issue some more?  Regarding the half moon covers on the inside of the trailer fenders, I have ply CPES'd and carpeted. They have held up for many years. |

Yes most definitely have to keep it hooked up till in the water, they are very slick. when they are wet. It also is much easier to adjust the boat once out of the water when you don't quite get it on the trailer all the way.

Here are pics of the bunks on the trailer w/boat, sorry don't have any without the boat in the way, I'll take some next time we launch.     Here is the link to their site: Ultimate Bunk Boards Very simple to install, they have all the hardware and tools if you don't have them already. I also added one extra step and took my router and rounded off the edges of the boards, took maybe 10 extra minutes once installed. Tony |
