I have a Borg Warner 71C transmission (1:1). While it's out of the boat, I figure I should probably have it rebuilt. Is the overhaul kit from skidim (Item # 51218) my best option? Are they OEM parts?
Any other tips appreciated! |

One thing to note with many of these 71c/72c kits is that there are enough clutch plates both forward and reverse to overhaul a 72c which means that there are too many for a 71c and if you stuff them all in there, it'll be all bound up and not work.
You can find old threads where people have done this So pay attention to how many come out and put the same number back in. |
