Has anyone added a zerk grease fitting to a rudder port? On my previous '96 I had to replace the rudder and port, so got one with a zerk fitting (so much easier than dropping the rudder). I now have a '97 which does not have one. Anyone added one? If so, what size fitting did you use? It looks like the thickness of the port where I'd drill for the fitting is about 0.3".

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Gordon

Believe the ports with zirks also have o-rings to keep the grease in.
