When I got the boat, Speedometer worked just fine. I planned on hooking it up as it was except I got paint in the tiny little hole the pressure needs to transfer through so I took it out and cleaned it up.
I couldn’t find any posts showing this old Speedometer pick up so I thought I would make one. It has a 1/8 inch copper line with a flare fitting that goes on the top. I think it’s pretty remarkable that after 48 years it still works !!!!    best picture resolution for facebook |

Thanks for posting Den Den. I thought you posted some hardware, a 3 ball and a shark tooth for some reason. I understand now that I have seen each picture.
