I'm looking to get a guide book for boating off the gulf coast of Florida, near Tampa. Is anyone familiar with the area and have a good suggestion of where to find a book on ports in the gulf coast or good day trips from Tampa in the gulf?

Karen,
Any of the marina's you depart from will have navigational maps of the waterways out there and I'm sure helpful hints to keep you out of trouble. Worked for me traveling around the Keys this past fall.... Moj'
