how do i go about servicing velvet drive trans unit in m nautique....is there a drain plug or do i suction it out? what fluid goes back in it?

It wasnt the fault of the hose... wait a minute maybe it was- it couldnt have been a user error.
Burdie, there may be a plug on your BW (theres one on my PCM) but the easiest way to get the fluid out is with a hand pump down the dipstick hole. Just make sure you put the hose straight down into the bottom! If the fluid looks OK (not milky or frothy) just put in as much fluid as you are able to take out. If the fluid is questionable, you'll want to flush it 5-6 times. |
