I just bought a set about a month ago. Most likely you need a 215 14". Carlisle is a very popular brand of trailer tire. That's what alot of U-haul trailers use. Car tires are for cars and light trucks and are NOT designed to handle the heavy loads of a trailer. They also behave quite differently as they are subjected to different circumstances.

245's are way to large

215-225 14" is about right, just check the rim width if they are to wide then the 215-225's wont fit right either need about a 6-7" wide rim.

Carlisle tires are absolute junk. You are better off going with Goodyear Marathons or Greenball/Tow Master II. Do a bit of research on the web and decide for yourself.

I do not have a CC trailer, but I used Greenball, F78-14/C1's on my tandem axle trailer.
