Appreciate your thoughts ! Any ideas/suggestions on what I can use to "cosmetically" patch various small screw holes throughout the boat. The p.o.'s old cover was snapped on, and I would like to remove all of the male-snaps that surround the boat just below the rub-rail. Also, on the inside I'll be removing the bow brackets as well.

All of these areas are white, and I don't think it really needs to be marine grade adhesive (3M 5200) because none of areas will be below water line.

Do you think I should use SkiDIM's GelCoat repair kit ? I was just thinking some white siliconized caulking would do the trick, but certainly don't want it to look ghetto !

Thanks Again!   Chris.

Chalking would look ghetto, the Gel coat repair would look much beter. Middle of the road would be something like white Marinetex epoxy, it will be whiter than CC SilverCloud gel. Less labor than gelcoat repair.
good luck

The marine tex is a quick fix that can actually be worked like gelcote to give pretty decent finished appearance. If you decide to mix gelcote use the end of a small drink stir stick or tooth pick to meter out tiny portions of each color you are mixing. Mix the color before ever putting the color into the gelcote. Once you have a close match (keep track of how many parts of each color) then mix a small sample of gelcote and let it cure. Check the resultant color to confirm that you are satisfied. I really wouldnt use caulking.

You may want to check with Minicraft of Florida to see if they can color match the 80. Since you have lots of holes one of their gel coat repair kits would save you a lot of guessing with the pigments in one of the universal kits.
80 is getting back there so you would need to call them with the HIN.

Ditto on the Minicraft of florida....they sell a color wheel where you can place color samples up to the hull and pick the one that matches best, I got really good matchs on two boats!
