I need the original dash mounted rearveiw mirror for a '93 Ski Nautique. I am not sure what years used the mirror. The mirror post screws directly to the top of the center protion of the dash with four screws.

...still looking. Specifically, I need the mirror post. Many have removed the dash mount mirror in favor of windsheild mount mirrors, so there must be some out there tucked away in the dark corners of garages. The mirror is the last items to make the restoration of my '93 SN complete.

I've got the older style mirror, looked through the reference section and your's looks a little different than what I have, it looks like it has a plastic frame to it.

The mirror I am looking for was only used on the SN's between '90 and '96, I believe. In '97 I think CC went to the windsheild mounted mirror. Prior to '90, I believe the dash mounted mirrors came up through the dash. My '93 originally had a top of dash mounted mirror (about 2.5x2.5 inch base with single upright).

Would you be interested in the one off my '88?

Im not sure, but I think the bracket DavidF is looking for should be the same from '87-'93. In '94 I think they went to the windshield mount.

Hollywood:
Thanks for the offer, but I am fairly certain that the '88 mirror post came up through the dash and was mounted on the bottom of the dash. The mirror post on my '93 is mounted on the top side of the dash. TRBenj: I am not 100% certain when the mirror mounting changed, but the best I can tell from looking through the Diaries section is the change first happened in '90 with the introduction of the Euro tail boats. |

David: I believe you are correct about the mounting change. I will be going to the windshield bracket so just thought I'd offer. If it were the other way (top/bottom bottom/top) around I'd like to think you'd take it!

DavidF, you're probably right. I assumed that they used the same bracket for all the CIPA dash mounted mirrors.

Well, the part I am really looking for is the mirror support post/bracket. The mirrors are pretty much all the same. My original post was not very clear on this point.

The search is over. I owe a very big thank you to an outstanding and very generous fellow '93 SN owner. Thank you Gary (gary93)!
