Do you know which Acme part # it is?

Has it ever been re-worked?

Jessi;

Check this out chief! Below is a chart showing Acme prop sizes for RH Correct Craft boats w/ 1" shafts. I think you must have the orginal prop, which I doubt is an Acme.

I was somewhat excited to see that you had a real Acme as I would like to find an Acme 540 for my boat. Thought I had found the holy grail there for a minute.

Acme Part #'s for RH 1" shaft props. The 540 is a 13x12x1"

Part# DIA Pitch    Cup   BLD Bore ROT

1606 12.50 11.50 .040 cup 3 1" RH
1604 12.50 11.50 .060 cup 3 1" RH
1210 12.50 12.00 .080 cup 3 1" RH
470 12.50 15.00 .105 cup 3 1" RH
654 12.50 15.00 .105 cup 4 1" RH
422 12.50 15.50 .105 cup 4 1" RH
668 12.50 15.50 .150 cup 4 1" RH
648 13.00 11.50 .040cup 3 1" RH
1608 13.00 11.50 .060cup 3 1" RH

So by now you should have realized that a acme 431 is a great prop 13x13x1 but it is a LH (I was actually holding one in my hand yesterday) and will not work on the vast majority (99.9%)of Correctcrafts.. Jess does your boat have a non-original engine or is it a 425hp 454 non-listed option boat..

I just put a 13x13 1 inch cup on my 78' it does just fine but its not a Acme, and why wouldn't one work if they did make them in a RH???????? I had to eat some of my words I know that. lol

It would work fine however it wouldn't be the equal of a 13x13x1 federal or legend, closer to a 13x14.25. You would need a big engine to turn it. Standard acme replacement size is 13x12x1 for all around use on a direct drive. Next time please be nice when some one takes the time to post and try and help you out, noone gets paid for this.

this screams OJ orginal prop for all you uninformed fools bitting at the bits because of the words ACME.

Also look at the other post by the seller reworked in 2003 when did the ACME CNC props come out? might want to do some research or the clown screwed the prop up before it was made.

OJ wouldnt have been the original prop- Federal would have. Im guessing all the "uninformed tools" were thinking it was an Acme because thats what the OP stated it was. Just a guess. Only a handful of people here would be able to quickly identify that there is no such thing as a RH 13x13 Acme... yet.

Im not sure when Acme came onto the ski boat scene, but they became standard equipment on CC's in '00 or '01. I put a 422 on our '92 in '02.

Actually it screams Michigan Wheel Federal.

In 1949, the Michigan Wheel Company purchased Federal Propellers, uniting the primary suppliers of recreational propellers.

I thank you for that. I see what to look for now. I was lead to believe that it was a Acme prop from the 1st owner.
