Just finished giving my Tique a tune up and pretty pleased with the outcome.
44.8mph @ 4300rpm.

Is this about right? Seems good especially as this boat is propane (LPG) converted and that usually knocks a mph or two off the top end.

Jay,
I think you're doing good with those numbers especially since it's running on the bottled stuff.

The performance seems like its in the ballpark, but it would help to know which engine you have, and which prop youre running. Most 82+ Tiques that I have seen (which share the same hull as the 70-81 2nd gen Ski Nautique) have had 302's... so if thats the case, youre doing pretty well.

351w. No idea on the prop and as it's moored in the water for the rest of the summer identifying it will have to wait. I suspect the original prop as everything else is original.

The hull is similar to the 2nd gen nautique hull but has the tapered chines seen on the 2001 hull. It's been antifouled so this likely adds a little drag.

Actually it's HIN shows 82 but the graphics are of the 83 style. It's got dual airguide speedos (one in MPH and one in KM) and rear facing bench seat as opposed to the forward facing seat in the CC brochure.

I'm very happy with the performance. It's fast enough for me to foot behind which my previous 2001 wasn't. Plus the wake is nice for skating.
