Conversion or complete EI distributor?

The distributor turns the same direction no matter what the engine rotation is.

I carry an extra on the boat, I loose one a year.... either stumbles intermittently, or no warning, dead in the water with the kids yelling "why are you stopping DAD" I am really close to going back to POINTS

Who's brand? Is it a Pertronics? If so, you certainly are lucky!

If you used the igniter to trigger an MSD6M, it lasts forever because the igniter will only draw miliAmps instead of Amps.

Theres a speed shop here in town that sells alot to the marine dealer and never has a problem with them, so I thought I will give it a shot. I will for sure keep the points in the boat though.
