Hey folks, I ran across a used Shoremaster 2000 lb capacity hoist. I don't have the specs in front of me for my '80 American Skier, but I looked at the '80 Nautique 18' specs, and it's listed weight is approx. 2100 lbs.

Are these 2000 lb hoists adequate for these boats?

thanks

You should be able to replace the cable system to increase the hoist's capacity, give shoremaster a call or look for a website.

On a lot of the shore stations, lifts, hoist the frames are the same and they have different cables and winches to vary the load capacity. Hyd. lifts you change cylinders or pumps I think not very familar with they.
