Ok, this followed me home the other day.......
http://s897.photobucket.com/user/Devroude1/media/imagejpg1_zpsbe3350ec.jpg.html" rel="nofollow"> [/IMG
It's actually not bad and is complete as far as I can tell. However this is a classic case of boat abuse.... Story is the first owner had something go wrong with the engine and tore it apart, didn't figure out the problem got. Frustrated and just left it, withe the engine cover up for several years thus trashing the block and other components.
http://s897.photobucket.com/user/Devroude1/media/imagejpg9_zpsed2c89c5.jpg.html" rel="nofollow">
Next owner got it as money owed and kind of covered it for the next couple of years.
http://s897.photobucket.com/user/Devroude1/media/imagejpg5_zps9c338fc0.jpg.html" rel="nofollow">
So now it's mine and I think the best thing to do is part it out, the floors are spongy and rotten, the stringers sound very hollow, so I'm sure a complete stringer job would be in order.
So now it's parts, I'm going to start disassembly this weekend and will post up parts as I can.
If you need anything, feel free to PM me and well make a deal.
As of right now the things not available are the trailer and the speedos.
With 3 Correct Crafts in the back yard, It's starting to look like some of the other famous northeast family's boat yards!

Thanks, John.

Oh fun!

Horn & anchor light (supposing they work) and that vinyl bag snapped to the hull wall. No rush, we can check them out later this summer.

I will pull and check the horn and I don't know if the light is there but will look, you want the base as well?
That pouch is pretty cool, I looked in my blue '87 and yep there are the three snaps! Guess I will put that on my wish list!

Maybe Zach has a blue pouch from the blue 87 SN he is/was parting out. I think Christine's Marine has some pouches available too. Black is seemingly impossible to find, burgandy will work for me.

Sure I'll take the socket/ base too.

Nathan, I deliberated and knew that the question might come up......
But felt it would be best sold as parts to help keep other boats on the water.

Adam, what do do think gut it, build a grill into the stern, fill the body with ice and beer,(that center drain would work well!), put a sound system under the front deck and replace the windshield with a couple of flat screens, leave it on the trailer and tow it to all the CCF functions!

Thanks to everyone who has asked about parts.
I've been trying to touch base via pm's and keep everything strait and fair.
I've been busy on the tear down and I am almost done, if I haven't touched base with people, it's most likely I'm waiting on a response as well.

Thanks again,

John a couple of questions about that drivers seat base

Is it sturdy enough to support the frame as it is - or is it just a cover for the base ie when you removed this was there a wooden block underneath glassed to the floor?

Can you let me know the measurements for the bolt holes, A and B in the below photo: http://s258.photobucket.com/user/graham22k/media/seatbase_zps84680673.jpg.html" rel="nofollow">

Im still interested in using this on my '82 tique with the classic style aluminium (proper English! ) frame, as mounting it flat to the floor seems too upright

That is the entire seat support in the 87's, there nothing under it except the floor. It screws to the wood flooring under the fiberglass covering with the 12 perimeter screws. On mine "A" is 9", "B" is 11-1/2". There are two 1 by 4 pieces of wood laminated under the angled face of the base running front to back directly under those holes. The holes are about 3/8" in diameter.

Posted By: JDD33
Date Posted: May-21-2014 at 11:26pm
Yes those are the dimensions I measured as well!

Thanks Mark!
Here's the back side of the base

Does your seat sit above the battery?

Cc only out the battery under the seat in the (narrow) 16' boats... But they stopped doing that in the mid 70's.

I was under the impression that '80 was the only year that used the plywood pedestal with the newer style seat frames and tracks. That was definitely the case on the SN, as they went to the fiberglass pedestal in '81. I can't imagine they would have gone to the trouble of making wood versions after they had the ability to make them with glass, so my guess is that even the budget Tique would have had one in '82. Either way, the frames being used by that point are not meant to mount directly to the floor. That pedestal was the same 81-92.

If anyone is needing parts that JDD no longer has give me an email. I too am parting out an 87 Ski Nautique but I'd rather John get rid of all his stuff first.

I only have driver and observer. They've also been poorly recovered once. I will get pictures.

Do you know if the front (black horizontal) air inlet vents are the same size/fitment as the ones on the 86-88 Martinique Bowrider?

If so, I would be interested in one or both if they aren't sun dead-faded.

Appreciate your feedback...I'm in central AL.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for looking! The good vents went to some guy named Hollywood. The other was cracked and broke so unfortunately I can't help. Actually Hollywood might have some from a part out he has going, give him a shout(PM).

The vents are available new and I'm sure they're the same as all the other CC models of the time period. I have a few, let me go through them.

Also, I have a tracking fin if JDD is out of stock. I also have a platform but it's pretty rough.

PM me with email addresses for picture replies.

Any gauges left? How about the fuel level sending unit? I am also looking for the throttle box next to the driver.
I'm in NC and will pay freight.

Gauges? yes
Fuel sending unit? yes
Morse Control? yes

You said "test" platform and then "teak" platform. I have a crappy platform available. It's complete and usable but very weathered.

What is a "rudder fin"?
Rudder? yes
Tracking fin? yes
