I am looking for the dash plate that would go behind the steering wheel and fit the 1986 nautique. any ideas on where to track one down?

Hey brother...dont know if you've found what you are needin but you might check with correct craft or a local dealership.

Call woody at Southeast correct craft or try Dennis at mid west correct craft.
