If not, what happened to the port? Repair is an option or you may consider modifying the hull to fit a port that's close to the original. Getting into the hull wouldn't be a bad idea. Unless you have already, there's a very good chance the wood backing for the port is rotted. How's the rudder? Prop? Strut?
