I know there are a few on this site, I've spoken to a couple. I'm restoring my X-55 and always looking for 'correctness'.
Was wondering, is there an X-55 registry? If not, I would be willing to start one, to keep track and share info, etc. Thoughts?

Thanks, Pete.
Being an ACBS member I have that info, but know of 4 X-55's not on the ACBS 2006 list...my own included.
These boats are so cool, so fast, and so rare, I thought a registry could be useful.

Brian,
It's been some time since I've talked with http://www.correctcraftfan.com/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=2087" rel="nofollow - Craig (64X55) But he was putting together a list of X55 owners way back. I haven't seen him on the site in years ether but try a PM. The last phone # I have for him is 301 729 1183 so try that as well. He was in the process of a X restore and did post a few pictures.

I know of one in Tariffville, CT. Didn't see that one on the list either. Any idea how many were made Pete?

Jack,
I've heard there were less than 100 during the 3&1/2 year production. My guess is around 70.

Newly created website for Dunphy X-55 owners:

www.dunphyx55.com

I hope this site evolves into an "all-things Dunphy X-55 resource".

It is very, very early on, and thus should continue to grow and take shape. Please feel free to comment and/or make suggestions. Thanks

There's one at a cool boat museum that my dad and I stopped at on our way up north to get some parts for our motorcycle. It was for sale but I'm not sure if it's been sold yet. I'll have to find some of the pictures I took of it.

Miss X55 has been for sale for years but maybe this is a new owner? Her bottom has been glassed and I believe those pictures are old?
