The vortex shifted more the west so we are getting colder temps here than predicted yesterday. It's currently -21 degrees and expected to drop a couple more. John and Gary, you might have to dig you long johns out since the cold will hit the south too!

I talked to Billy the other day and he said he was freezing his b**** off with a 30 degree temp down in Louisiana! His heat in his house was going non stop!

Have in-laws in town from PA. I believe its in the negatives up there, too. Not to rub it in, but I was just looking out my window and considering going for a ski today. High of 62.

I don't know where you ski but water temps were 57 yesterday on the surface on Dora chain, 58 is my cut off. I May have to go a lil further south next weekend to ski.

Here is yesterdays sunrise and sunset. Only going to be 71 today,might have to put on a long sleeve shirt,the seat cooling is off . Water temp on bay side is 69

I was in CT over night so experienced the -9, wind was howling. The heat pump in my hotel room couldn't heat the room up this morning. Home in NH was -14.

It's supposed to be 48 degrees on Tuesday, that will be a 62 degree swing in 2 days.
