Several months back there was a posting of a possible Lake Shafer or Lake Freeman mini. Both in north central Indiana and on same river. Has there been any interest since then on an Indiana get together?? Another option might be Lake Monroe just south of Bloomington and about 1 hour south of Indianapolis. It has a marina with hotel and restaurant. Just a thought for us mid westerners. North Carolina sounds like fun but a long haul for us. | There is a group that goes to Clinton lake in Clinton IL. There is a nuke plant that discharges hot water . The warm side is open now you can expect 80 plus water . |

Anywhere that is not over 6 hours away would be do-able. The N.C. get togethers would be fun but don't really want to do a 14 hour haul. Is there anything around the Indiana Dunes area??? Wawassee, James, Maxinkukee?? Come on down to Clinton Lake, IL. There's a thread on it in the reunion forum.. Great camping, warm water (upper 90s usually) and big enough to find good water. Search the sight for past trips. We try to go early spring and late fall. Otherwise the water is TOO warm!!!! There is a small group headed down the weekend before Memorial Day. The more the merrier!!!! Hey Chris!! Hope all is well & thanks for correcting my link I provided! The stroker motor is still in there! 👍 We haven't had time lately didn't even put the boat in the water last year! I had another kid last August & my mom was diagnosed with cancer last June so to say the least priorities were changed. I should have it ready for the lake in a few weeks. I've got 9 Friday's off work downtown in a row starting in June so I'll be looking fwd to using it! Hope all is well with you!
