HELLO

I have a 1979 fish natique with a 454 and a deep oil pan

i have an oil bypass systen with 2 big filters that hold a qt each plus and oil cooler

my dipstick broke and i dont know yet what size to get but my question for now is approx how many total qts should it take

Without the bypass items mine holds 8.

Might want to specify the marinizer, or post pictures if you do not know. The OMC pan was larger than the Pcm.

now up to 10 qts and just starting to touch the tip of dip stick--starting to scare me --hope its right dip stick - 21 inches long after handle-- and of course engine is mounted at a angle backwards and dip stick hole is in middle of pan--wonder if this factors in
