Need help decoding serial number. SN= 340484. Labeled as pro boss. In a 1994 ski nautique but previous owner stated that engine had been redone. So trying to figure out exactly what I have. Hr meter has 125hrs. Also engine runs rough at low idle? Thx for help Dan |

Unfortunately the number does not tell you anything,it's the prefix that has the info. Here are two examples below,top one is a early 80's PCM tag bottom one a mid 90's one. It's the model number you need to tell what the original spec engine is.
