I am a slalom skier considering buying a 94 Sport Nautique. I am not familiar with the quality of the wake for skiing or how well the sport handles rough water. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Its skiable but not a great wake 196 is a better choice for slalom.

Any idea how it rides in the rougher water? Thanks

Not all that great. Even though it's a bit larger it's still a flat bottom inboard ski boat. I take mine in fairly rough lake water at times and it's a beating for the most part. It will handle it safely, just a rough ride and wet ride at times.

I am replacing a Prostar 205 and trying to compare to that ride. The 205 was a rough ride until the redesign in 1996 then it was pretty smooth. I am used to the 96 and later ride which isn't to bad. It sounds like the sport Nautique is similar to the earlier 205s.
