It's a sad day here in Minneapolis, Another small family owned sports shop is closing its doors. Mark the owner of Son watersports and Dave his salesman have been around Correct Crafts for a long time. Mark used to work at the Correct Craft warehouse by Chicago. Dave has been in the recreation field for along time. They had a lot of knowledge between them about the old boats. They were a lot of help to me. They will be missed. Sign of the times., maybe. I went to go to the Overtons store in Raleigh a while back to find that it was now gone. Maybe the tube market is shrinking. Similarly, a while back, with a fair amount of fanfare, White Lake Marine opened a satellite shop in Durham, just up the road from where I work. With quite a bit less fanfare, it seems to have closed.
