Meh, hard to beat PP and their proven excellent customer service. And for just $200 differences... but hey that $200 might buy you one oil change with Amsoil. Hydrophases rotary knob seems cheesy but I like you can supposedly adjust the overshoot. My 93 SN takes a long setup for the slalom course. Not because it has trouble getting up to speed but I just comes in hot and takes a second to throttle down. But still my PB was with PP and IMHO beat damn slalom pull ever (when In classic mode).

Just alot of data and chatter out there about battery drain and servo motor failure, slower satellite acquirement on PP . I see quite a few correct crafts starting to use the alternative.

I would tend to agree with this, perfect pass is ripe for some competition. They do have good customer service but they need it. Low volume electronics can be a bit tricky to be sure, but technology has generally gotten cheaper and better in the last few decades and perfect pass is not cheap or robust.   Obviously zero-off is a major competitor these days but that's not a real option for any value based slalom tractors.

I don't know anything about hydrophase but I would certainly be interested in finding out more...

I like that it can fine adjustment adjust down to .1 which is nice with nob. Sounds like better in double up turns, .Not to mention MADE IN 'MERICA!!!!!

I’m not too sure where this battery drain is. I think if PP is draining battery down you have much other problems electrically. Think about it, a good number off boats running PP would be ‘99 and older so there’s the undersized wiring already that needs to be upgraded plus 20 years corrosion etc. The fact that PP has good service is partly because their Canadian, that typical stereotype how you could rear end a Canadian and they’ll apologize because they were in front of you.

Every customs officer already hate me its been duly noted. Candian = good service???? hardly.    Its a know thing that the PP draws alot at rest to keep the satellites acquired for whatever reason that's how it was designed , maybe a little bit to do with the wiring wasn;t designed for it. Once paypal figures out i'm not an international arms dealer I may give it a shot.
