Anyone still have a lead on near original decals on a 89 SN? I have tried N3, no correspondence, NautiqueParts.com, only have '88 version available. I really would like to restore to as near as original as I can, even if someone has done the font, shading and checkerboard design work I can find someone to print.

I’ve got an 89’ SN as well that needs new decals. Aren’t the SN hull graphics the same except for the smaller “2001” on the 89’? If so, NautiqueParts.com is showing both available. I haven’t seen the transom “Competition Ski Nautique” decal though.

If you look at the brochure and in the diaries (be careful not all boats are original) you should be able to spot the subtle differences.

there is a specific checkerboard and shadowing, see other posts in forums, and yes there is the smaller 2001.

I've sent a message to N3 b/c nautiqueparts.com said they weren't available, but just in case, anyone had to replace the decals that surround the front black air vents in front of the windshield and have an option to get these purchased and/or reproduced?

Could be wrong but I was under the impression that N3 gets them from White Lake- but that might have just been for my SS

The decals that N3 has are for the 88 models which would be the same except the transom decal. Adam had someone reproduce the 89 version for me and I got OEM double black pin stripe along with the world decal and the Correct Craft decal that's on the rear (not the cheapest items). All of this was purchased in the last 3mos. I'm having a company locally reproduce the ones that surround the black vents on the front since they are not available. Although I will say that my recent 2 emails and 2 phone calls to N3 have gone unresponded to date so I'm not feeling the customer service right now but good luck.

88 and 89 side decals to the best of my knowledge are not the same. The 89 have the smaller 2001 and they have a checkered pattern under the Ski Nautique.

I think the checkers themselves are a bit different (sharper?) and the shadow is gray while the letters/checkers are white. That’s the usual color but then there are also other color options like black/red/blue...

Yeah, I didn't replace the side decals...but yes the checkers are a bit more distinct. The transom decal was reproduced and it comes clear so when applied over the stripe it obviously appears the same color. The reproduction was spot on though...
