Hey All,
I think I am on track with my spark plug issue (another thread) but now I am having trouble with my fuel water separator. Sadly, I am working on a 1988 Mastercraft Tristar. They used a Racor 110 fuel water separator with an internal filter. I can not spin the cover off. I have it out of the boat and on the bench in the vice and it still won't budge. I think it would be easier and cheaper overall to simply replace it with the Sierra canister system.

Any inputs?
Thanks,
Tom

I think you're right.

You can buy filters about anywhere for that Sierra filter adapter.

Just as an example, WalMart sells Quicksilver brand filters that'll screw right on when it's time to change filters.

Abandon ship. Interpret this however...

I showroomed the filter at West Marine, then bought it online.
