Have a 1972 Century Resorter with a 340ci motor that has a cracked block. Does anyone have a marine 340 motor that runs well and could be installed w/o issues? Second, could a 360 motor be installed   w/o a lot of retrofitting? What would be necessary to install, eg., different motor mounts?

Rich,
Have you considered just replacing the block by putting all the existing parts on it?

Bad winterization causing the cracked block?
