Congrats on your retirement! Now you got six Saturdays and a Sunday! Got a buddy that just retired a year or so back. He loves just sauntering down to the kitchen for coffee and to read the paper (whatever that is) at 9:00 AM everyday. My #1 goal when I retire: Escape Illinois! |

Dave, You know I bailed Illinois and couldn't be happier! Part time at the HD isn't that bad and fills in some gaps in SS. I also have a wood boat friend who just bought here in Three Lakes. He's bailing out of Illinois too. We only have about 11 years left anyway Pete. You know we are only about 5 feet above sea level down there. I have pictures going back to 81 when they bought the place. I look across the canal and look at my neighbors fish cleaning table and it's drain cemented through the dock wall. Makes a good reference point on water levels.
