My passenger side windshield is loose, I’d like to tighten or replace the screws.
What is the best way to remove the foam covering the channel where the screws are?
I’m guessing worse case scenario I have to replace the foam stripping. I’m trying to avoid that as they changed the stripping so I would have to do both sides.

Is it foam? The early 90’s version is rubber and is easily reinstalled. Just gotta get a small screwdriver under one side to get it started.

i meant rubber but its so deteriorated on the outside it looks like foam.
I’ll give the little screwdrivers a shot was just wondering if there was a trade secret to removal.

It just pulls out. If it’s too old and brittle, it won’t come out in 1 piece.

Success
It’s a more of a foam than a rubber sort of like a something that would be used to seal an airbox.
