Hey Everyone,

1996 Sport Nautique. 2 year old radio will not power up. It did on the way to the sandbar but not on the way home.
Pulled the dashboard
Inline fuse is good
Connections at the battery are good
What can I check with a voltmeter to see if the head unit is dead?
What else can I check?
Not the greatest mechanic in the world, so speak slowly and use little words!!

Thanks

Jason,
Check at the inline fuse for power first.. Are both the + and - directly connected to the battery? How did you check the fuse? Just by looking at it ? Switch the meter to Ohms and check the fuse again.
