Just had a storm whip through it picked up the pontoon lift, destroyed the Nautique’s windshield, and dropped the lift 100 feet away. Who do I reach out to to get a new windshield, we are in Danbury Wi. And how do I add photos from an I-phone?
Thanks

Ben,
Knowing what year and model you have will determine where you need to start looking for the windshield. Posting pictures on CCfan from a mobile device is near impossible. It's best from a PC.

EDIT: I went back into your previous posts and see the boat is an 88 SN. Is the frame bent? If not, then it's just glass that a glass shop can cut for you.

Email the pictures to a PC so you can post them.

a few more photos, looks like it ripped the screws out of the fiberglass. Hopefully I can make it work the rest of the season and bring it in this fall to have the fiberglass and paint repaired

Ben,
Considering the age of the boat, it may be hard to find the windshield. Your best bet is to post in the parts wanted section and keep an eye out for someone parting out a 2001.

I live in St. Paul, boats in Danbury wi. I’ll head up Thursday or Friday and check it out, might be able to have someone fabricate the bent window frame and salvage what’s useable. Doesn’t look promising trying to by it new.

I had to buy a new windshield after a boating accident.

There was a shop in Florida who custom made one for me, including frame.. Wasn't cheap.

Internet is your friend here, used ones come up occasionally.

I didn't want to wait for a used one to surface, so I paid the high price.

The problem I see is the aluminum extrusions are a proprietary profile so they aren't something anyone can purchase.

Thanks, I think we’ll be fine for the summer, I’ll keep my eyes pealed for a used one. My insurance said they’ll cover, but it will be interesting to see what number they come up with. Also had a 2008 pontoon parked next to it and the canopy on that got destroyed, looked into that today as well and they don’t make them anymore. We’ll see, everything still runs and summers up here don’t last long! Gotta keep stuff running because before ya know it we’ll be ice fishing!
