I have an access hole in the front on my 82 2001 in front of the motor close to the observers chair. It looks just like the shaft packing access hole in the back of the boat.Anybody know what it was for ?I might seal over it during my re carpet job.I dont have a cooler , just a battery area under the observers chair.I cant find a use for this access hole. Thanks Dan

it's actually for the screws holding the pylon and bilge but would work for a trash can.
