I have an older ford garden tractor at my lake place, its getting hard to get parts for.Saw one on e bay 9 minutes left had to jump on it.
Its about 10 hours from here but going to Detroit this summer, hope he can store it no problem we;ll see. Thanks for looking into it Wood.good part is I only had to give $152.50 for it.Last night my old wheel horse broke a rear hub and that was the good part, woodruff key swiped out about 3/4 inch on drive side, gonna try to tig in a new key where material is missing. One thing leads to another.

Think a drum of round up might be a better answer?

Munday,
A drum of round up would probably be more than 152 bucks. Where do you live?

Bowen is Mid State west, quite a ways from Chicago, what if I fly Hollywood down there how long would it take him to drive the Mower back, it's only about 300 miles??

We are suppossed to be in Detroit 4th of July

Its lawn tractor type 42 inch deck

Those pics of your Higgins make me look harder at my old 58 Chris I really need to move some
stuff off it and at least take a couple of pics

On a better note, that little schiada speed v drive I bought around christmas is a gas,I took it over to a local lake bout 10 minutes away 2 weekends ago, worked flawlessly, point and shoot no reverse have to fire it in gear came complete with 2 paddles docking and loading on trailor bit touchy...

O and then I got to drain the water out of it last saturday because of freeze thought we were thru with the cold stuff
