My '95 GT-40 has started making a whining noise while running, only notice it at idle. It sounds like a Chevy fuel pump. Its been doing it for a few weeks with no problems. Last weekend the boat had to turn over 10-15 times before starting, never had that issue before. Are these signs of a failing fuel pump? If so, which one, the low pressure, or high pressure? I do not have the FCC. Thanks,

sure sounds like the electric fuel pump is going, are you seeing any performance issues? You should see them on the top end first due to a possible low pressure caused by the pump.
