I remember a while back there was a topic about how folks are asking insane amounts of money for their 1986 to 1988 Ski Nautique 2001 boats. In the for sale section the low price is $7,000.00 and the high is $15,000.00 with an average of $9,921.00.

I would like to buy a 1999 or newer SN 196 this year. More than one boat dealer has told me I'll get "maybe" $7,000.00 in trade in allowance for my 1987 SN, (despite all the work, Perfect Pass, etc...).

What is a fair price to sell a "rebuilt" boat?

Where is your boat at? I have two people looking for boats here.

I am in Flaherty, KY. It is an hour south of Louisville, KY.

I think you could get $10k for that boat Bill, privately sold of course.

Your boat looks really clean. I think you could get 9-10K, maybe more, if you sell it yourself.

I would place an add at Wakeworld.com and market it to wake boarders.

I would also think you could get 10K Bill. However, I think you'll need to be patient for the right buyer. At 9K, I would think it would go quickly.

Question: Can you remove the perfect pass? I don't think you're going to fetch much of a premium for the perfect pass.

One other question Bill - Why 1999 or newer?
The 97 and 98 hulls are the same as the 99.

I can remove the PP and put the speedo back in its place. I was looking for '99 or newer because I thought that is when the TSC hull came out. Guess I am looking for '97 or newer.
