Guys,
For lack of just something better to do than watch the ice form on the windows, and to help understand how many people are interested in attending the 3rd annual Green Lake Reunion, July 11-13th, add your name to the list. Keith is putting the final touches on the event list for registration, but what the hell who's really thinking of coming???

Wife and I are planning on being there if it is July 11-13 as mentioned in the other thread.
Will be staying at Campground and will bring 80SN and 2 mutts. Will be coming from central NC.

I will be there! Staying at the Bayview July 11-13th. Oh my BD is the 11th, could be trouble. I will bring my wife, 2 girls (6,3) all skiers for years now. Our youngest started when she was 16 months, so a seasoned veteran now;). ALso will have the '91 yellow and black SNCB.

What's GL2008? Will there be any beer? Chicks?

If yes to either question I will be there!
For sure Maddie and myself, same spot as always, reserved a room for Brownie as well.

Sorry to say we won't be able to make it this year. That weekend is my wife's birthday & she doesn't want to spend it in a group situation.

Chris,
I know what you mean, that weekend is my wifes b.day also... last year we had a surprise party for her at the campground.... helped a little bit... I told her , for me that would be the ultimate gift.. a weekend with the CCF clan! I guess women have different ideas tho...

Now , if I can only figure out how to tell her , Ive alresdy signed up for the Muscatine Ia boat show in May.... on our wedding anniversary ..(might be the last one?)

I'm at the Bayview again. Not sure at this time about my wife Diane. There is a strong   possibility that she won't make it but, in her place, friends Mark (Laural lake skier) and Chuck (has a 69 Barracuda and visits CCfan every day but hasn't registered yet) will come with me.

Well, I'm pretty certain my wife wins the good sport award here. Not only has she agreed that we may go to GL for the third straight year, but, she has agreed that she and my year and half old daughter will make the 2,157 mile drive with me if I want to tow my boat back.

Not certain yet that we'll bring the boat, but I think it is pretty great that she's in for the trip. Think I might just stay at the Heidle house as a treat for her.

BKH, if you don't bring the boat, we'll save you a spot on the "toon" again.

We'll be at the campground again I guess. Sorta gave up on the house rental deal. Haven't been able to find one for less that $3000/wk (ouch).

Critter, if u'r coming from from central NC you need to hook up with our caravan from Lake Norman, which last year had 5 CC rigs for 920mi.

Reservations all set for the Bayview. So far, the wife is being a good sport about it, but we'll have to see how month #8 of pregnancy is going. Might be a "game time" decision for her. Either way, I'll be there with the 97 SNOB. I just scored an unbelievable deal on a new tow vehicle, so GL will be a good chance to test it out on the road. The clock is ticking.

It's staying busy that keeps one going. These long cold snow days are killers. I don't do the long snow ski trips any more. Can not wait for the weather to turn warm!

Business is slow for I have only had on trip since Nov 30. March always starts to pick up for I have several. My best trip is a two day John Deere plant tour for a FFA group going too the Davenport, IA area.

At my ski club they say the boat rides are good for getting the baby to come a little ahead of schedule. With the waves at GL, I'd keep Dena out of the boat

I'll be there + 2 or 3. Don't know where i'm staying yet, but we'll figure that out. Last year I stayed at my brother's place way on the other side of the lake. It took 1/2 a tank in gas just to travel back and forth each day. Maybe we'll shoot for the campground. Can't wait!!!

As I remember it for this year, the Bayview will look something like this:

Bayview:
Pete + 1 boat
Steve (Behl) + 1 boat
Steve (raindog) + 1 boat
Rob (Rleinen79) + 1 boat
Gary (Stang 72) + at least 1 boat
Brian + 1 boat
James (87BFN) + at least 1 boat
Steve (62 Wood) + 1 boat

Feel free to chime in if I'm wrong. The Bayview dock will once again be quite the sight.

Those are great colors. One day we might make the upgrade to a 206. This year, we're definitely going to add a bimini.

Thanks.

Hard to tell but the stripe was dark blue as was the stripe on the seats. We knew the area rep at the time (Skip Dunlap) and he fixed Patti with the reverse graphics. You are the first to compliment it. Most didn't like that "pinkish" color. Not my favorite.

We have had the top ever since our '93. Patti said that without the top she couldn't spend the day in the boat in the sun. Now we love having one. And I gotta have my best driver on board (well execpt for my brother and Dale Good) so a top it is. The storage space is great in the 206.

As mentioned last year, there are several somewhat local RV dealers who will rent a 19-27' travel trailer or pop up camper and even deliver it to the campground for a very reasonable fee. We are taking this route ourselves this year instead of hauling ours. Anyone interested in this option, just let me know here and I'll provide you several company names. Or just do a search for the thread from last year.

My wife and I have our travel arrangements booked. Unfortunately, I can't take my boat with me this year. I have a work obligation late Monday afternoon. I'll need to thumb a ride again.

Wow, Bayview full, Lakeview full. I'm trying to get a hold of the Oakwood Lodge. All I'm getting is an answering machine. I'm looking forward to being closer to the Goose Blind this year. I'd like to participate in some of the festivities. I'll put my wife as a secondary driver on the rental this year. Or I can sleep it off at the boat ramp What the hell, we'll need to be there at 4:30AM for some footing anyway.

Ken,
McConnell is a great B&B..You'll love it there.. We stayed there several times when we first started to go to GL. Owners are great people. I'm glad to see you both coming back for another year.. I don't think rides will be a problem !!

Thanks for the legwork on that one Ken, I just put in my reservation as well. They had 4 rooms left, now they have 3. They have one spot for a boat trailer, so I snagged that too! Can't WAIT.

One thing that I thought was odd is that we can't have an infant in the room- it's only 2 people allowed per room by city ordinance. So, looks like we'll have sitters that week.

Hey Moj',

Thanks for the feedback. Their website is impressive for a small B&B. The lady I booked with sounded extremely friendly and welcoming. We got a room on the top floor with a lake view and jacuzzi. Last year, we were at the Dartford Inn across the highway. We felt very disconnected from everything.

We're looking forward to seeing you all again!

Hey Joel, that's great. It will be great to see you. That's too bad about not being allowed to have a child there. We'll have to hook up for breakfast one morning.

I'm looking forward to checking out your boat.

Hahaha Ken, I think that room comes with a Taiwan basket and a "toy closet" too.. You'll have a great time in that room hahaha....

Naa, nice place to stay.. The breakfasts are often wierd (unless you're into ciche(sp)) haha..

Being right there is perfect... And yes, the Dartford Inn is at least in the town, but a bit scary at the same time.. Not very well kept up...

Joel,
That sounds crazy about the occupancy ordinance.. Never heard that before...

Speaking of ordinance, are we OK with firing up the boats without issues from Lake Patrol? I would hope they'd respect our club and let us enjoy Green Lake.

We have a very responsible group. I have not doubts that we'll have no issues. Keith has done a fantastic job setting the tone for these reunions. Dave and Alan are great leaders for us in good ole WI.

Hopefully we can get some of friends from CC Inc. to join us!

Hey Guys,
Yes, I have been in contact with the Sheriff and Game Warden of Green Lake County and we should be fine. That are very happy for us to be coming back. We'll go over all of that stuff on Friday night but in general follow the laws around no-wake zones and we should be fine.

We're at the Bayview again, BTW

My email is : mailto:d.dorsen@worldnet.att.net - d.dorsen@worldnet.att.net ...

With your support and feedback from last year, we've put together, what we think will be the very best reunion to date.. Check out the registration page for details and information..

LURKERS: Be aware, there will be no Correct Craft reunions this year.. Come and join us, you'll be glad you did !!!!

Ken,

Thanks for the acknowledgement but other than some brainstorming last fall Dave and Keith have taken care of just about everything so far. I've had to back away as my work load is just crazy this year, we'll be staying involved as a Sponsor with Action Screen Print & Embroidery.

Looks like with the CC reunions cancelled this could be a banner year for CCfan's outings.

And gang please don't forget that there is a lot going on at GL that weekend and any help that could be offered goes a long way. As simple as sticking around to help pickup the campground friday night or pack up the Goose Blind after dinner saturday. Don't be afraid to step up and offer even if it's just a few minutes of your time, it goes a long way and is truly appreciated.
