Purchased by Danny L. and Randa L. Fish and taken to Sebastopol, California on 11/24/69. We don't know from whom the Fishes purchased her. The history of the former owners can be gleaned from the Fla. Reg. number. The Fish family apparently donated it to the Water Ski Museum & Hall of Fame around the 1980's.
It remained with the Winter Haven, Florida Museum until 1988. I was Mayor of Bartow, Florida at the time and was given a tour of the Museum. I saw it covered in a back corner of the museum. I fell in love with it. The Museum wanted a sign placed on the 4-lane U.S. 27 telling folks where the Museum was located. I had some pull with the Department of Transportation so, the Museum Director, Carole Lowe told me, If I could arrange for the sign, she'd authorize the sale of the boat to me.
I bought it for a friend of mine; Bill Simpson. We hauled it to my home and shop where I rebuilt the boat and had the engine rebuilt. I have all of the records including the actual bills of the re-build. Bill used the boat and then left it alone for about 15 years. I finally got her back and refurbished her, again! She is now in my possession but I have no place to enjoy a beautiful Mahogany boat. No fresh water lakes near Naples, Florida.
Thus, my wish to sell her.

Hours on the engine since new (I presume): 00423.3 and the Hobbs meter does work

Engine: Ford Interceptor, 144 cu. in. in-line 6 cyl. built as a 90 h.p. but, I had it bored, stroked, milled heads, ported, polished and relieved in Feb. 1989
New estimated horsepower: 105 - 110 h.p. She runs like a beautiful Rolex watch
Trailer: original. Just last month I installed: new axle, hubs (5 lug) new wheels (galvanized), tires (with nitrogen) and Buddy Bearings. She's ready to go anywhere in the continent.
