Just purchased my dream ski boat and now I'm a Rookie Nautique owner!
I've skied on the same small private lake called Pine Mountain Lake in Groveland, CA for the last 40 years and finally have a my bucket list to ski behind! It's in great shape and runs terrific but I'd like to put some time and effort into it to bring it to it's best potential possible!
For example, Hood scoop could use work or replaced. New carpet. Refinished teak deck. Clean up the engine plus get the most HP possible. Registration states it's a 79 but the vinyl scoop indicates it's a 78 (just learned that on this site!).
Anyway, I could sure use some expert advice and help finding replacement parts etc. I will have the full background of this boat's history posted shortly. I know it was originally owned by a professional skier and given to him by CC back in the day. I'm having him write up a quick history for me now.
